Holy Protection of Theotokos Goloseevsky Monastery (Sviyato-Pokrovskaya Goloseevskaya Pustyn) contributed for restoration of the hermitage (skit) in Tserkovschina (since February of 2010 it started as an independent monastery) and building of the new Kiev Christian worship locality called the Saint Nicholas-Tikhvin Nunnery.
The Saint Nicholas-Tikhvin Nunnery originated on the 19th of December of 2005 not far from the Goloseev Pustyn on the place where the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God was revealed. Archimandrite Isaac and the brethren of the monastery served the first Divine Liturgy there in the church that was just the tent. Since that time the Church services are regularly held here and from May of 2009 they are held daily.
On the 24th of January 24 of 2007 the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church blessed the opening of the Saint Nicholas-Tikhvin Nunnery in Kiev and the nun Tatiana (Alatartseva) was appointed to the rank of its abbess. Archimandrite Isaac was assigned as its confessor and builder.
